Request for implementation of a function that allows Google Groups to be used for access control in Codatum
I'm indebted to you. This is Okutsu from Datamind. I would like to implement a function that can directly use the Google Group in Google Workspace for Codatum access control. Currently, the “create group” operation in workspace settings is limited to Workspace Owner permissions. Since it is not possible to create groups or change members in Workspace Editor, it is necessary to request the Workspace Owner every time the member configuration is changed, making continuous operation difficult. Could you consider the following features? Register your Google Group email address as a Codatum group Automatically sync Google Group member information to Codatum Directly specify Google Groups as access control targets for Notebooks, Connection, Teamspace, etc. Delegate group management rights to users other than Workspace Owners Synchronize group information using SCIM, API, webhooks, etc. Automatic reflection of permissions on Codatum in response to Google Group member changes In particular, a form where access rights on the Codatum side can be automatically synchronized using the group on the Google Workspace side as the original source is ideal. If direct cooperation is difficult due to security restrictions, etc., please tell us about alternative methods that can be used and future response plans. Environmental information Workspace name: Plaid, Inc. Workspace ID: 64d08968515ab0e0e088e5aa0a Plan: Internal Testing User role: Workspace Editor Target screen: Group - Plaid, Inc. We would appreciate it if you could check whether implementation is possible, support plans, and whether there are alternative operations. Thank you for your support.
